"From the North Pole to Pole Position" is my reimagined twist on the classic poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' by Clement C. Moore, with a dash of racing cheer.
It's a poem I wrote for fun and to spread the holiday spirit with Formula 1 fans and kids who love the sport.
Summary: On Christmas Eve in the realm of Formula 1, cars in parc fermé await an imminent Grand Prix, while drivers, mechanics, and engineers dream of triumph on the racetrack. Suddenly, an unexpected visit from Santa Claus, donning a Ferrari-red racing suit and accompanied by eight reindeer, transforms the night into a high-speed adventure, with Santa racing around a Grand Prix circuit as the teams watch in amazement. Will Santa set a new track record?
Video: To add a bit more fun into this project, I donned a faux Ferrari race suit, originally my Halloween costume from last year and my occasional karting attire. I became Santa Claus reimagined as an F1 driver and recorded myself reciting the poem. Thanks to modern technology, I was able to replace my voice with Santa's.
